Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 27, 2010 Moderators Posted May 27, 2010 Remove the scuttle panel and check your wiper arm mechanism; probably has fallen apart. Remove the wiper arms and then the 4 screws across the front then slide it out and up. Quote
aussie240z Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Had a similar issue when rebuilding my 240. Ended up pulling all down, cleaning and redoing connectors etc. used new circlips and thrust washers as they had worn over time and allowed the connectors to come adrift. Also found that where the connector link had come off, it had started to rub on the firewall on the drivers side and allowed some rust to start. Fixed and renewed all at the same time. Put new wiper shaft sealing rubbers on when re assembling as well as antisieze etc. Works like a bought one now. Quote
