Hey guys,

Bought this about a month ago now to help with wiring up my vh41de into the Z but some unfortunate circumstances have befell my family and now I must sell it on to help.

I bought it for 12k so its 12ono offer, fairly open on the offers due to the reasons for sale.

Ok price drop, brothers operation is over but this still needs to go to pay off the over draw. $10,000 ONO $7,500 ONO

These cars were never imported by Nissan Australia and were also not permitted to be imported by grey market importers. This car was bought brand new by the previous owners business partner in China then imported into AUS under the personal importation scheme. The previous owner acquired the vehicle when his partners business went under. The car itself is in stunning condition for its age with only minor blemishes on the front bar and rear right panel (clear coat chipped). The interior is fawn leather with REAL wood grain inserts. The leather is in very good condition, the steering wheel and gear shifter are how ever starting to show their age. Nearly all km’s on the car have been done in AUS between Melbourne and Sydney.

If you require any more pictures/videos or other information on the car please call 0400541075.

Yeah no, fair call and ill explain why I think it is this way.

If you look back through importation history even past the 15 year rule you will notice that the y32 cima was not allowed to be imported. Now take note of the Y32 in the statement because the y31s and y32s look similar but are totally different and in fact unlike most nissans only share 2 common suspension parts with the older model. 99% of the time people mistake this for the commonly available y31 Nissan cima which came with a vg30de or vg30dett and was import en-mass during the 15 year rule. My y32 bears a personal import plate as it was owned in china for 6 years before being bought over to Australia by the previous owner. To my knowledge after searching extensively for one of these in aus for over a year this is one of 2 y32 model cimas in AUS and also the only vh41de powered y32 cima in AUS. You can go on to http://aus-vip.com/ to see the other cima which is a vg30dett powered cima, look for the user name "Dominik". There is also a thread on there about my car where you will see the guys all discuss how it is there is one of these in the country. There is also  a thread about Dominiks, if you look at Dominiks you will see that he had to own the car in japan for 3 years then had it imported by personal import like mine but had massive trouble with the law even getting the clearance to import it. Further evidence is my arguments with Shannon's, Just Car (both of these companies will insure it for the same price as a y31 cima even though they share very little) and even Carsales (who still don't believe me and wont add the details for it to the for sale list) that the model even exists. You can also look on carsales and the other car selling websites and you will not find another y32, even mine is listed as a y31 due to carsales not adding the details, you will how ever find shivere tonnes of y31s and possibly a couple of the newer y33s and F50s.

In short I would almost be willing to hedge a bet that the cars you worked on are y31 cimas, not y32s.

you may be right i am not sure if the ones in my town are y31 or y32 but they are both v8's

Im not trying to be rude they just interest me. I thought i had pics of the one i worked on but i must have deleted them

Yeah no offence taken its a valid question. There is also a couple of extremely rare australian sold nissans that are similar in looks only, the nissan infiniti and also the later nissan infiniti j30 model. These came with a vh45de and a vh41de respectively, which are both v8s.

yeh i know the infinity they are also  a nice car to do up in the VIP style

the one i worked on was a cima he crashed it again not long ago i remember the auto memory adjusting front seat that would slide back when you open the door as well as the steering wheel lifting up automatically It had a real nice exhaust note to

Very nice car mate

I own a infiniti q45 and you are quite right. it is an aus delivered model and is quite rare (probably because it was 140k new in 1993)

your cima looks to be similarly specced. electric everything, memory seats, leather..etc

the vh v8 engines go great and halfcuts are cheap (~2k) if they ever need replacing

good luck with the sale
