Riceburner Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Does anyone no if my standard tie rod ends will fit these new spacers i have? They are from z car customs and are offset bump steer spacers, the offset increases camber as well. Don't wana find out i need custom rod ends after it's in bits! Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 16, 2010 Moderators Posted March 16, 2010 Depends on the amount of camber it increases.. With the lower adjustable arms I have, I'm running about 3.5' of negative and it's on the limit of the tie rod ends. What you can do is use tie rods off a series 2 280ZX? (I think) but they are both right handed threads so you will have to replace one of your 240Z left hand thread rack ends for another right hand thread end off another rack and use the 280ZX rod ends. I might reduce my camber a tad! Quote
Riceburner Posted March 16, 2010 Author Posted March 16, 2010 It says increases to 2.5deg neg, i have delrin offset control arm bushes i think they are 1deg. So should be ok, will see how it goes. Thanks Quote
