Rogerz Posted March 9, 2010 Posted March 9, 2010 Going to Melbourne to visit my daughter who is down with her honey who is doing a job there. Got a 83 280zx soon to have a turbo, 86 turbo and 96 turbo. Wondering about going to the Grand Prix there. General Admission ticket a good way to go? Any tips on getting around best curves to hand out like that. Appreciate any info. thanks, roger Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 9, 2010 Moderators Posted March 9, 2010 Welcome to the forum Rogerz, you must love your hairdryers! If you are planning to go to all the days, General admission is good rather than being stuck in the same spot in a grandstand for 3 days. With the general admission, you can find the best spots. My good viewing point is turn 15; you see the two last bends before the pits and any support racing cars coming out of the rear of the pits, you see them first! and there's always the spectacular accidents there too! Rogerz Posted March 10, 2010 Author Posted March 10, 2010 thank you zedman. any z car stuff going on there around that time? Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 10, 2010 Moderators Posted March 10, 2010 The Philip Island historics are on around the same time; should be a few zeds racing that day. I'll be there with my zed (not racing though) just as a spectator! usually there are about 4-5 zeds among other classics. Quote
