too bad about not getting the 280. without all the garbage the usa govt made them put on it the fuel injected 280 was quite a good power plant. maybe nissan had a bunch of parts hard to believe they would make two engines in the same years. seems like extra effort on their part keeping track of what went where.

just curious from America. How did you guys miss getting the 280z. No imports between 75 and 78? the 280zx came to the american continent in 79. Most of them had cruise control. We yanks like our gadgets you know.

Going to Melbourne to visit my daughter who is down with her honey who is doing a job there. Got a 83 280zx soon to have a turbo, 86 turbo and 96 turbo. Wondering about going to the Grand Prix there. General Admission ticket a good way to go? Any tips on getting around best curves to hand out like that. Appreciate any info. thanks, roger
