sexual_sushi Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I saw this post over at hybridz, thought it was quite interesting: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=156693 TonyD posts about this company doing SU throttle body injection adapters (http://www.pattonmachine.com/ConversionBenefits.htm). I'm not planning on doing this at all, just wanted to hear some discussion from people about this. It seems like it's aimed at people who want to be able to revert back to the original system easily. If you weren't worried about this backwards compatibility, would you just go with the 280zx efi or the next step, itb's? Quote
. Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I don't know how it would run but it is butt ugly!! Give me ITBs based on webers anyday Quote
PZG302 Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 The biggest problem I see is the spray patterns won't be as effective as the standard 280 EFI set up as the injector nozzles are too far away from the ports for all but the wildest biggest revving, >9000 rpm, L series engines. The revs that the L series will run to comfortably don't allow for a set up where the injectors are away from the cylinders to run as well as the standard system does. Quote
