Gaskets and piston rings

hey guys,

 

im after a full gasket kit, plus piston ring for the 240z L24 problem is what size rings do i buy?? im still new with the 240z... and how much will be spending?

Well a full rebuild kit, from the US, with new pitsons, rings, mains and rod beatings, gasket kit, opil pump ect ect if $600Au deliverd.

 

A set of pistons at Bursons alone of $290 plus $90 rings. Gasket set is $110.

Is the motor disassembled and if so are the pistons oversize? Should be marked on the top of the pistons if it is.

how about cleaning the piston rings and pistons? will that do any good?

The other mob is good but expensive and is a HIGH performance part supplier, so more costly.

 

The other guy is a basic engine rebuild kit.
