modular9 Posted October 17, 2009 Posted October 17, 2009 Ok fellas I have found some wheels to replace the standard mags on a 77 260z 2+2. Sigma turbo GSR mags. nice condition but before I drop some coin on them I'd like if someone can help me with the maths to see if they will fit. 15 x 6 ( research has led me to believe that they are +20 - please pipe up if this is not the case ) So using Nzeder's post in this very same forum : Backspace = (Rim + 1" for beed to beed)/2 +(offset/25.4) BS = (6+1)/2 +(20/25.4) BS = 7/2 + 0.787 BS = 3.5 + 0.787 BS = 4.287" BS = 4.287 x 25.4 BS = 108.9mm So I am assuming these will fit but would it look arse? I have always loved the turbine look to these mags. I know 6 inch is for wimps but i dont know if I want to go the rota rb that everyone else does. Thanks for any help and taking the time to help out. Mike Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted October 17, 2009 Moderators Posted October 17, 2009 This site may help... http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html I use it from time to time to match wheel rolling radius of different wheel sizes..and has lots of info about wheel dimensions and calculators. Quote
chris240 Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I know exactly what these look like....very 80's & neatish.. , but why bother with 6" wide rims for a zed..they'll look lonely under the guards . call me old fashioned but I still dont mind 12 slotters on certain zeds.. (I can hear the vomitting in the background :-X) Quote
