Vale': Frank Gardner - RIP

I don't expect many of the younger guys on this site will know of Frank,

but he passed away today at the age of 78.

He had quite an impressive life though.

 

We've lost another Australian legend

 

R.I.P. Frank Gardner. Born 1 October 1930 in Sydney- died 29 August 2009

RIP Frank,

 

not old enough to see him race, though but only through his running of the JPS BMW with Richards & Longhurst and Sierras. Long gone are the days of the great battles with  George Fury, the Bluebirds, DR30 Skylines, M3's, Volvos (!) mixing it with the V8's. Miss those days but lets keep to thread topic
