280zx doors

Hi,

 

I'm currently working on the rust on my 1979 280zx, and the doors are shot completely. I've asked around and found a pair of doors (from a person I trust normally), and have been quoted $700 for the set (not stripped down, all glass and electrics included).

 

Is this a fair price? Being a girl, I often get over-quoted for my repairs and parts, I've found its best to double check before I buy now.

 

Any help/advice you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated!

You could buy a whole 280ZX for that!

Sounds like a ripoff to me.

 

Surely there's someone on this site who has a pair for sale...?

Yeah, i thought it was a bit steep - the price for the doors stripped down of glass and electrics was $275 per door, which my panel-beater mate said was a good price so long as there's no rust in the inner frames.
