acf321 Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Hi Guys, before I put my car back together I thought I'd see if anyone has a spare 240Z bell-housing hanging around, as I have a 260 box with the short housing, meaning my shift lever is incorrectly positioned. acf321 Posted July 23, 2009 Author Posted July 23, 2009 Sure thing Pauly... that would be great if you do, then I guess its just as easy to swap them over to get the transmission position back to the original spot right I have not done this every before, but I think it was Lurch that said it was an easy fix, that is replace the 260 housing for a 240 item and VOILLA, it fits perfect, with no need for crazy bent shifter??? this sound about right Pauly? happy to wait mate ... let me know and I can pick it up this weekend .. else another time that suits ... we can even make an opportunity to catch up to show you the hornet (in pieces !!) cheers Quote
