I'll be driving down to Sydney from Brisbane on the 22nd and would be able to pick it up on the 23rd and will be returning to Brisbane on Monday the 27th, so could meet you on the highway on the way back. At this stage yes, the money is paid and cheque has been cashed, the OLT is arranged, my leave is arranged, the trailer to bring the Z home to Brisbane is arranged. I now just have to hope that the engine and box are back in the car and the car is painted and sign written before I turn up in Sydney on the Wednesday before the meeting. Thursday will be spent getting the slicks changed over to my new rims and getting any other little things sorted before hitting the track on Friday for practice and my OLT. Matt Quote

PZG302 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Geoff, I'll be haviong a run in Marque Sports. The Group Sc guys don't really approve of L31 motor with Haltech Injection, 18" slicks, stripped interior, no bars, etc, etc. The car was originally built in the early 90's as a 3F street sedan and then converted to 2B Marque sports a couple of years later. Unfortunately CAMS won't let it run as a Group T car as it was built after the cutoff of 1989, so it is a bit of an orphan, Ithe FOSC meetings and hill climbs is about the only place it will be competitive in it's class, however how quick I will be at the meeting remains to be seen, I haven't driven it since 2006. I reckon I will be pretty rusty behind the wheel. My car will be opretty easy to spot, green with white diamonds and a white bonnet. I should be in one of the carports at the back of the paddock. PZG302 Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 I'll be out there from Friday, if the car is finished in time. It should be out of the panel beaters on Friday and motor and box back in the hole on the weekend and then painted early next week. Looks like I'll be putting the sign writing on at the track. It's been frustrating being up here in Brisbane whilst the car is rebuilt in Sydney. I also can't push the guys too much as its all being done at the right price and they have been flat out with their own stuff. Getting back to the post.....Anm I still required to bring the speakers back north, they may have to be dropped out to me at the track over the weekend depending on what needs to be done to the car when I get down to Sydney. Looks like I'll be busy on Thursday trying to finish the car off so won't be able to run around to pick them up. If someone drops them off to me, then all good to deliver.
