muffler question

hey everyone just wanted to say you guys have been really helpfull and I'm sorry

It depends, what pipe will you be welding that up to?

 

its going to have SERIOUS drone if your just sticking that on the end of a stock exhuast system. As for fitting it will go on there fine, have a look at photos of my car if you want to see sort of what it will look like.

You've gotta be joking... Your'll have a permanent farting sound out of your Zed if you fit that.

Not to mention loss of performance & shocking drone as Mike said.

 

'Walker' do some nice free flowing mufflers that will give a nice note, no drone & better performance at a reasonable price.

Also, on a fairly stock L6, you won't need to go over 2.5" system otherwise you'll loose power.

If you want a big tip, get the ehaust shop to fir a nice big crome tip to the end of the muffler

 

FWIW 'Cannon' mufflers look like sh*t.

Just go to your local exhaust shop and they will give you the look you want without compromising performance and should be able to suit just about any budget

thanks guys, i wont be buying a muffler then lol. only wanted as mine is the same colour as the rest of the car and only 2inch tip, but if its as bad as yall say its goin to be i think ill just get a tip lol not after a rocket tip just crome. the current tip remineds me that the car is a good 14years older then me

im probebly doing this on mine

 

2.5in from the extractors then a flange near the diff,

 

one muffler just a big chunk quite stock one off another car for when i want the car quite and sedate

 

the other straight pipes with twin 2.5in tips

(these are 3in, but you get the idea)
