towndrunkensmurf Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Hey guys, im looking at doing a coilover conversion for my 2+2 and im looking at options. Im really interested in the HSD kits that benzed is selling but as he doesnt have one for the 2+2 yet (55mm) im looking at getting a set of the 51mm gear and putting them onto a set of 240k struts i have left over from my 510 days. Now what im wondering is if there is any downside or impossibility to fitting 240k struts to a 260z 2+2? Havent really done a great deal of research, done a few quick google searches, but have been told 240k struts will bolt straight into a 2+2 no drama. The other reason im leaning towards the 240k items is i can do all the mods, refurbish the struts etc without taking my car back off the road (again) for an extended period of time while i do the mods. If its a stupid idea let me know and ill just wait for Ben to come up with the 55mm jobbies for the standard 2+2 kit. Thanks in advance guys Smurf Quote
