Toecutter Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 What cars have fuel pumps that can be used for a carburated car like the 240? Quote
Enzo Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Hi, Any electric fuel pump will do as long as you use a fuel pressure regulator. Hitashi/su and Dellorto and Webers don't like more than 3 PSI. The trick is high volume ,low pressure so your not forcing fuel past the needle and seats. Quote
Toecutter Posted March 22, 2006 Author Posted March 22, 2006 I've read that an early 80's carburated RX-7 pumps are good seeing they provide about 3.5 psi. I guess I might use one of these seeing I would'nt neeed to add a regulator to it. Quote
