mars_240 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Hey guys, Just wondering whether anyone can help, I have excellent 260Z (2 door) doors that I would like to put onto my 240Z and note that the internals of the 240Z door (i.e. window mechanism, door locks etc) don't quite work with the 260Z door, has anyone ever modified a door to suit or is it a waste of time and I should buy the 260Z internal parts required? Cheers Marcus. Quote
Scoota G Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Howdy, The problem would be finding the 260Z 2 seater parts in the first place. I did a write up on modifying 260Z 2+2 window mech to the 2 seater, these would be more plentiful. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,3126.0.html Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 30, 2009 Moderators Posted March 30, 2009 Are the doors 2 seater or 2+2? what year are they from? Theres two types of 2 seater doors as well. Also, there are a few variations that I have seen so it all depends what you have to play with. Quote
Scoota G Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Not trying to make the process more complex but i'm thinkin just get hands on with these cars as i found ways to adapt celica parts!!!!!. Learn from doing. Quote
