Hi guys, I'm just about to do the s14 gearbox conversion on my 240z.

I dont have the reaming bit to do the 1st/2nd selector shaft hole and i have limited tools in brisbane so i figure it would be just as easy to send it to a machine shop to do the hole and take the metal off the inside of the bellhousing (see pic).

Does anyone know of a good machine shop around brisbane i could send it to?

Let us all know if you managed to find a machine shop that can do this for you, and their pricing too!!

Hi dat man. Ended up getting it done at Mendham Engineering down on the Ipswich Motorway. I'll find details when I get home from work. Was a bit more than I expected, maybe about $340 or something? Anyway I'll confirm all this. I'm still writing up my details on doing the transfer and making up a crossmember :S
