where to buy alternator

hey guys i'm in the liverpool area in sydney,

i just wanted to know if anyone know anywhere in my area where i can buy a cheap alternator for a L26.

 

Any help would be great.

off me lol... but im in Melbourne.... you would be surprised at a little company that goes by the name of REPCO... they have been pretty competive when it comes to that stuff seen as they own just about every thing now!!... i will pm you another company if you want

Mate there's heaps of wreckers in liverpool .get one cheap anywhere even an autoelec

Pretty sure all the L series motors the alternator work .Skyline, 240k 260c, patrol and the list

keeps going . Also try ebay .But wreckers are the go!

I have one here that i had reco'd about 10 years ago and has had about 5 years use after that then i upgraded it.

Mate $30 to $60 is a good price .$408 tell them there dreaming (the castle)

Try member here mrp69 (peter) his getting heaps of spares soon just has to pick them up

just a update for anyone wanting a alternator

 

repco  $408 (new)

extreme electrical  in liverool    $140  (reco)

408 is bulls#*t .... maybe late 200 but tell em to go stick it ..... if the reco one is a "reco" not just a spray job they will offer warranty on it 140 is a good price for one that has had the treatment ....but in saying that .... what is wrong with yours??? it may be a cheap repair that i can help out with!!! long distance repairs i like that lol should start up a 1800 line
