my name is cesar and im 23 years old. i own a 1975 260z 2+2. im trying to get a regulator if i can get that i will be there 100%.

if i can get my alternator regulator fixed in time i would love to talk to other z owners.

hey guys i need some more help. i got my alternator bench tested and they said it all good. now i think its the external regulator. i have been looking for a regulator and nowhere has the one i need with 6 pins. just wanted to know if anyone has a spare one i can buy of somewhere i can buy one. also has anyone had there revs, temp and oil gauge stop working if so do you know how you fixed it.

hey guys i'm having a bit of problem with my baby 260z. About a week ago my revs stop movinig and my oil and fuel gauges stop working as well. after a short drive my battery ran out. can anyone help, has anyone has the same problem? Do you think its a alternator problem or the regulator. Does the 260z come with a regulator if so where can i find it and what does it look like. any help would be great ive been busting my brain to find out whats wrong.

hey guy im on the look out for a l28 injected engine. as i need to tow a 16ft boat around and the l26 has a hard time doing it. also does anyone know if the injected motor uses less fuel then the twin cardy setup. im in the sydney area.

hey all i have some 260z 2+2 parts for sale. I need the money to pay for a engine upgrade for my other 260z. I can provide pictures of any part if needed. 1: 2 front seats both need recovering ( $50 each) 2: rear seat in good condition ($50) 3: Dash needs recovering but comes with all dials ($150) 4: wiper motor and arm ($20) 5: 260 motor and auto box (200) 6:carby and manifold (150) 7:rear view mirror ($5) 8:set of 4 seat belts($30) 9:fuel tank and extras ($80) 10: radiator ($30) 11:right & left door with door trim and window in bare metal ($100 each) 12: bonnet with 260z vents has rust ($50) 13: starter motor ($40) 14: drive shaft ($50) 15: brake booster has surface rust ($40) 16: front brakes and springs in used condition ($200 for both sides) 17: cross member ($80) 18:heater unit ($50 19:front lights ($40) 20: rear lights and unit ($80) 21: Wire harness ($30) I also have a 1975 260z 2+2 shell for $200 i has rust in all the spots you see on a 260z but i cut most of the rust out. the shell only comes with the rear end like the diff and drum brakes but no front like cross member, it also doesn't come with doors or panels. i put the sender from the auto into the manu box but it doesnt turn. i have pulled the speedo cable out and it looks good. when i put the man sender back that was is the man box it works again. do you think that the sender is stuffed or is it that im doing it wrong.

i removed the speedometer driven gear but now the speedo doesn't work. i removed the speedo cable from behind the speedo to see if it would spin but it doesn't. do u think it would be the speedo meter fitted wrong.

i have a 260 2+2 with a 5 speed i think its a F4W71B. i really didnt think the z should rev that high at that speed. do you think i have to change the diff.

hey all i just finished putting a new L26 into my 260z and i need some help with the speedo. The problem is that i am going alot faster then the speedo shows. when im going 100km/h on the speedo but im really going 125km/h on the road. does it have to do with changing the car from auto to a 5speed. also when i travel at 100km/h the car revs at 3000 is that ok it feels to high.

im in liverpool sydney.if anyone knows a machanic that will charge me less then $900 then that would really help. Do you know if their is any problems after putting in a new head gasket. anything i need to know about i just dont want to do a head change and have it blow again.
