L28 Engine + auto trans for sale

Located in Brisbane - Engine freshly pulled from my Zed, has been driven on about a 2-3 day a week basis for the past 2 years.

 

EFI, hasn't skipped a beat, auto trans has seemed fine however I think the head gasket is starting to give - oil ahoy :/.  Probably suits someone who either wants to rebuild/clean up a l28 for a recondition project or someone out for a bit of a play.

 

For me its more about the space it is taking up than the price of sale - so pretty much just drop any vaguely reasonable offer here or via PM - any other questions I'll do my best to answer over the coming days (examinations and all getting in the way of me spending too much time on the car/near the computer for leisure)

 

Will also generally have a small stream of parts coming up for sale over the next 6 weeks.

 

Not really much that can be said that is coming to mind other than if this doesn't get sold, I'll be taking it apart and giving a piston to each of my mates that has helped me along the way

 

oh - a word of warning -  if someone does purchase this, come prepared to deal with one bastard of a driveway to get it on to a trailer/back of a ute etc

What head and block is the motor comprised of???

 

If it is a N42 head I will probably be interested.

If the efi is sold separately I'd be interested . Would need almost everything to convert from carb to efi.

 

Built a n42/f54 combo and have twin su's and triples, but would actually prefer to efi/turbo it.

I am interested in the motor only, but if I have to will take the auto away for you as well.

 

I'm quite happy for Modular9 to take the EFI off your hands as I already have all the good bits I need on my race motor and run a Haltech computer.

Motor is sold - EFI gear is available on its own now though

will do Moonstone . Decision will be made once new motor has 100 - 200 km put on it ( daily driver, so shouldnt take too long )
