DevilZ Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 Is anyone selling a rear strut brace for a 260z 2 seater or know where I can get one and the cost? Quote

zedevan Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 its interesting that in that ebay add a front strut brace is pictured...lol anyway, it depends what year 260z 2 seater you have. i bought the cusco "240z-260z" model. It was for the early ones with 240z strut towers, as you would think is the case, so to fix the problem the mounting holes just had to be slotted a bit, making the brace mount closer to the plate. I have a 1976. So it will have the later model struts in it. I tried a whiteline rear strut brace as they make one but just specify 260z, not whether it is for a 2 seater or 4 seater etc...... That didn't fit as it was slightly too long. With the cusco's i'm a bit reluctant as it cost $250 and then i'll probably have to modify them to get them to fit. There used to be a lot of places to get them 5 years ago but most of them have shut down and dont do them anymore. Quote
