Hunter Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 In Tassie I have visited 2 wreckers one quoted $220 for a pair of S13W8 4 Runner calipers which were rusted and still installed on a car. And the other was $240 a pair but he did come down to $220. These were all stored in a bin and seemed to be of slightly better condition. I think these prices are a bit steep, what price do they go for on the mainland? Quote

Hunter Posted October 8, 2008 Author Posted October 8, 2008 When I said the price was a bit steep, he reckons he used to sell volvo 4 spot calipers for the datsun rally cars for $300 a pair. These people down in tas must be loosing money hand over fist with the invention of ebay. Everything is so expensive to get done here in Tassie compared to mainland prices. I will have to get some better pads, but first I will get them on and installed. Quote
