I'm having the gearbox pulled on Friday and remembered it is missing a rubber on one side. If anyone has one in Brisbane or could express post it 2moro that would be ideal (sorry for the short notice) Or alternatively does anyone know if you can buy them locally? Quote
RBZ 260 Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 NISSAN spare parts what you mean one of them? aren't they one piece? in the middle of the bracket than the whole thing bolts to the chasis via 4 small bolts . thats on the 240z and early 260z. newer 260z have this crapy ears on the tunnel than the trany bracket slides into with two long bolts going through rubber bushing. than again u have the single mount that bolts to the box and the brackets. thats the only one i can think of with 2 round bushes on the transmission. but being a 240z you shouldnt have that. sexual_sushi Posted August 20, 2008 Author Posted August 20, 2008 mine has the 2 longs bolts going through the rubber im pretty sure. its is a 5 speed box from a 280 so maybe they have used the mount from a later car :S Quote
