SU throttle shaft repair/replacements

Good evening Distinguished and not so distinguished guests

Just wondering if anyone knows of any suppliers of 240z SU throttle shafts? Or failing that, the method in which the throttle shafts can be successfully repaired. 

Shafts are made of chrome plated brass, bushings are steel, shafts wear first resulting in worn shafts and unwanted play between shaft and bushing, and potentially vacuum leaks. I can provide photos, but most of the experts will know what wear I’m talking about. 

I know I can send my SU’s to Oregon and have ztherapy install steel shafts and roller bearings. But 1. It’s costly and 2. I want to do my own carb rebuild.
