dazza Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Can someone please tell me the offset for a 260z 2 seater? I was told that if you don't have to right offset the car will bump steer. True or not? Quote
Zeddophile Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 offset is about +12 for a zed. If you're looking for aftermarket wheels, pretty much the only thing is superlites, unless you run bolt on adaptors. The car can bump steer with incorrect offset, but I believe zeds are more prone to chew out wheel bearings. Quote
Toecutter Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 Just curious. Over the years I've heard wheel offsets for Z being stated anywhere from -15 to +15. Most commonly I've read 0mm mentioned. I'm not all that concerned as I believe with a 7" wide rim you could fit anything from a -15 to +15 offset on a Z. What do the superlights come as when ordered for a Z because they seem to fit nicely, i think it might be 0. I personally like going slightly negative to fill those guards a little. Sulio Quote
lambs Posted December 30, 2005 Posted December 30, 2005 For a 240Z/260Z the 'ideal' offset for a 7" rim is 0 (zero). Quote
