marty Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 Hi all. Does anybody have any opions on which car cover I should buy. Car is under a carport so im looking for one that doesn't scratch the paint when the wind blows. Thanks Quote
Hunter Posted August 9, 2008 Posted August 9, 2008 I have one that looks slightly like one of those thin green dishlex cloths. It is nice and soft on both sides and is completly waterproof. Just get a reasonably expensive one from SuperCheap, make sure you get one roughly the right size. They have the models on the package. Quote
mayhem Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 i got a auto technica one felt inside and water proof out $120 buck but! Quote
nizm0zed Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 sunland Prestige, get it from Autobarn for around $130 Had one over a fiberglass kit car, under pine trees for over 6 months, copped all sorts of crazy shit. Still in perfect condition, and very good on the car too. Its waterproof, thick, soft backed, and very easy to put on and take off. Only downside, pretty bulky when folded up. Quote
marty Posted August 10, 2008 Author Posted August 10, 2008 Do you cut a hole for the arrial or not? Quote
Hunter Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 That would defeat the purpose of your car cover, by letting moisture in. just put your aerial down. A small hole probablt would not hurt, but it is your choice Quote
