Hi guys,

I pulled down an LD28 engine today for its crankshaft. Interesting (and messy) experience as it was the first diesel i have pulled apart. Weirdly it had a modified winged rear sump20190323_160127.thumb.jpg.0e6c9350a718d677295a02d0983b2f1d.jpg20190323_125305.thumb.jpg.9380bec367ff353f501c01d1086637ba.jpg

Is there anything extra from this motor that is worth keeping? I have seen mention of the intake and the block being used over in the US..  but not so much here

Thanks guys

Hi,  I have just recently joined this site looking for some LD28 engine parts.  I found your thread and I was wondering if you still had the engine.  Particularly the crankshaft pulley.

Anyway if you still have it can you let me know.

Hi Mate,

How urgently do you need it? i am 80% sure i still have it, although i wont be able to check it as it would be in storage for a couple of weeks

Hi,  I need one as soon as possible but I'm can wait a few weeks.  If you still have it how much would you want for it and could you send it to Australia?

Cheers for getting back to me.

As for cost, i have no idea.. $30? i am in Sydney, so postage shouldn't be too much.. but let me confirm i still have it first :)

Hi mate,

Just letting you know the parts you sold me worked out great.  Fired the engine up today, the old girl was stubborn but she eventually gave in and rumbled into lufe after many years of slumber.

Again thanks for you help mate.
