LD28 engine parts worth keeping?

Hi guys,

I pulled down an LD28 engine today for its crankshaft. Interesting (and messy) experience as it was the first diesel i have pulled apart. Weirdly it had a modified winged rear sump

Is there anything extra from this motor that is worth keeping? I have seen mention of the intake and the block being used over in the US..  but not so much here

As for cost, i have no idea.. $30? i am in Sydney, so postage shouldn't be too much.. but let me confirm i still have it first

Hi mate,

Just letting you know the parts you sold me worked out great.  Fired the engine up today, the old girl was stubborn but she eventually gave in and rumbled into lufe after many years of slumber.
