Selling an early 240Z nose cone made from FRP/fibreglass. Appears to be genuine as it has the studs molded in to it and the quality of the glassing looks very high. Some minor damage at bottom which would require repair. Has holes drilled in it for headlight covers. Asking $200. See pics.

Pics of rear side? Not quite sure how to go about repairing this however.

Hey Gav,

Here are some pics of the rear. You can see the studs have a lot of reinforcement around them and the quality of the work is very high which makes me think it is Nissan. If I were to repair it I would glass it from the rear but you would need to bend a bit of metal to shape at the front and put some release agent on it. Bunnings sell cheap but decent quality fibreglass repair kits. Either that or take it to someone who does cars/surfboard glass. I found the Bunnings kit relatively good to use.

Cheers

Thanks mate, they look like OEM to me. I am actually trying to get a pair of 904 white painted buckets at the moment. Nice and patina looking to suit HS30 01415 to replace the rusted 1

If that falls through I'll let you know.
