Help Near Carlton

Never a dull moment..

Fellas, my Nieces V6 Nissan Murano split the top of the radiator badly yesterday and she parked it on the side of the road in Carlton , AAMI have arranged for it to be stored tonight, before it gets towed to a mechanic workshop of choice within roughly 15km of Carlton tomorrow. There is a chance she may have cooked the motor, as it's making a clunking noise as she described.

Can someone recommend an honest workshop for the car to be inspected within say 15km of Carlton ? She recently moved to Leongatha for work and Canberra is a bit of a drive to Carlton for me to check it out.

Only recommendation I have is in Ringwood which is more than 15km.

I work in west melbourne and everyone there uses the mechanic around the corner who's apparently a helpful honest guy. Can find out the name of the business first thing tomorrow morning if it's of interest.
