Enzo Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Hello, You mention that the setup is complete, but the "O" ring rubber anti-vibration gaskets are missing between the carbs and manifold. Also the bolts are too short ( should be studs ) and should have either rubber grommets or thackery washers fitted. The linkage is not correct for a zed .The middle carb is different from the outer two. It has external adjustable idle mixture screws whereas the outer two carbs have the screws inside the towers. Can you list the part numbers on the carbs and what jetting and choke tubes are fitted in each carb. Sorry to be picky, but just like to get an accurate picture of what you are selling. David. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 30, 2008 Moderators Posted April 30, 2008 I think the ones with the internal/external mixture screws are just different revisions eg. older and newer models. I don't think it will make any difference in performance, as long as they are all jetted correctly. They all are DHLA 40's. They must have the softmounts though! Very imoprtant unless you don't care about the needles and seats! Quote
24OZ Posted April 30, 2008 Author Posted April 30, 2008 DHLA40G stamped on all three carbies not sure on jet sizes,to suit a 2.6L nissan...sorry I am a fuel injection guy i take your word about the rubber spacers, they have not been fitted to a car on that manifold, just loosely bolted on to show and mock up throttle linkage i am sure anyone with enough basic mechanical knowledge to bolt the carbies on could get the throttle linkage pictured to work on an S130....if not best leave your car standard there is a difference between 'complete' and 'complete with',one suggests everything you need the other suggests it comes with extras....you'll notice it also needs air filters to be 'complete' i am no carbie expert, hence the 6 pics,if they don't look like what you are chasing please don't feel obliged to buy them or bag them genuine buyers i will try and provide answers to your questions, ask away cheers fellas/gals Quote
