Hi guys, can i hear from those of you that have installed a V8 into there zed in terms of the way the car handles, specifically on the track.  Does the weight of an old V8 drastically effect the handling? is there major understeer into corners?

Also, does anyone have any comments about the engine mounts sold by Castlemain Rod Shop to fit a V8 into the zed? Do these mounts position the engine far enough back?

I would love to put a 1uz in but cant seem to find much information, not even on hybridz, and it does appear that there would be a fair amount of hassle dropping one in ie welding custom mounts to chassis rails, converting to manual etc. Im not skilled enough to make custom mounts, no one happens to know of a fitting kit for the 1UZ do they?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
