hey i just took my motor out took carbs off my L26 im not sure but i think they are flat tops? im from Melbourne south eastern suburbs and i the carbs look pretty old and worn out anyone know where i can take them to get either rebuilt or cleaned etc? and a ruff idea on how much this is going to set me back?

I just had my carbs rebuilt at a place in Moe call carby rite yes "Moe"{been there for thirty years +} and Bruce charge me $300.00 inc new bushes. He also rebuilt the cabies for my father inlaws 1913 hudson at he same time very handy man but not fast.

I have been very happy with them if you need his number pm me and iwould be happy to get his number for you

if there flattops i wouldnt worry, i'd save my $ and buy some SU's or the original 240 carbys. I was in the same boat and went the original 240's as they are much easier to tune.
