KeenonZ's Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Hi All, I have a complete RB30 Nissan skyline engine and gearbox with all the computer, fuel pump, air flow meter, air filter, extractors, oil cooler, radiator, etc. It's fully sorted, tuned and running in car. All driveable etc. super torquey, goes really really well plus quiet and reliable. Engine is in great condition. No noises, no smoke absolutely mint condition. Reason for selling is I have this engine in a 260z I want to build back to stock Why spend $10k building a stroker when you can get a 3 liter SUPER torquey engine for a fifth of the price. There are a few small oil leaks, but nothing that could not be quickly and easily fixed. The box seems in ok nick. No noises and shifts well, 2nd gear syncing a bit worn, will crunch every now and again. Will consider offers but reckon $2,000 is a very fair price. Consider that a simple motor rebuild would costs of the order of $2k just for pistons bearings rings gaskets etc. If anyone is interested please pm me. Cheers, Doug Quote
Agno Posted November 3, 2016 Posted November 3, 2016 Hi, Does this include the appropriate engine/gbox mounts, crossmember etc or is it just the engine and box? Quote
KeenonZ's Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 Hi Agno, Yes for engine mounts. Think they bolt up to standard engine cross member so I'll hang on to that for the standard engine but let me have a look at it and I'll post another photo. I'll have a look at the gearbox too, happy to part with any non standard Z bracketry but I think it's a standard cross member. I'll take a few more photos and post up over the week end. Cheers, Doug Quote
KeenonZ's Posted November 6, 2016 Author Posted November 6, 2016 Had a look and took a few photos. The engine mounts look to be modified but mounts to the standard cross member points. The engine mounts go with the sale as well as the little rubber mounts under but the rest will have to stay. The gearbox mount looks like non standard so this can all go with the sale too. I'll have to find one from somewhere or make one. Basically you should have everything you need to bolt it all straight in. Quote
