240Z Early Hazard Light Switch - Wtd Or Swap

Hi folks,

 

Finishing off the electrics on my car and looking for an early 240z hazard light switch (as pictured).

 

Will purchase or swap (for any of the below or combos or item + cash difference)...

 

I have...

 

Early 240z twin throttle centre console (uncut, good condition) with throttles and cables

Early 240z heater control and radio surround (uncut, good condition) - surround only

Early 240z dash cap (fibreglass capped, no gauges, no metal frame) - average condition

 

+ rear hatch glass, rear quarter glass, side indicators, rear light garnishes, head lights. No mechanicals.

 

Also have some 260z stuff.

Ross that is the late 71/72 model switch. The early 1 says "Flash, ahhhhh"

I have a 73 model flash switch you pull out and lights up Green. I actually want the 72 version you posted for my 72 240z. Since that's just how I roll...

 

Attached is photos of the 73 switch. I'd sell it if I could find the earlier 72 style 1.

Hey Gav ... Love the FG reference ...actually the 73 switch would match my other switches better, does it attach to the same connectors as the earlier type?

1 of the wires on my 1 appear to be cut (not sure why?) It's a very thin wire too, so soldering might be hard. I haven't really invested much time into working it all out yet. Other than reading this thread a while back.

My 72 240z is in Melbourne so I don't have immediate access to it, to see what connections exist under the dashboard already. I bought a 240z flasher can on eBay US a while back but it's in the US with a stash of other 240z parts I plan to bring back with me soon.

 

Therefore I can only assume the connection set up is similar, but can't confirm.

 

I believe 73 North American delivered 240z's had the Green lit cigarette lighter, hazard switch and heater facia panels. Not sure why we didn't get them here? Perhaps cost cutting?
