Shannon's came to $620 for the pair, Famous at nigh-on $400. Afaics, the Famous is the same cover as Shannon's (choice of repairer, salvage rights, windscreen etc) and the rep pretty much admitted they've modeled themselves on Shannon's. Underwritten by Callidens. Anyone have any experience with Famous (ie claim-wise)? Rang Enthusiast , didn't answer the phone and haven't rang back. And that's for a quote! Not a claim. Adam (posted earlier in this thread) and I are with them and the service is pretty decent and they are extremely cheap. The one time I needed to use the complimentary roadside assist was great, two super friendly towies came and took it away and they gave me a cabcharge to get to where I was going and back again.
