Riceburner Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Hi Guys, with the new stroker build I'm looking for an MLS head gasket to suit my F54/P90. Everything I have seen so far looks to be missing some of the oval shaped cooling holes on one side of the block. With the block getting a half grout fill I want to find something with all the coolant passages open to maximise flow. Any suggestions? Quote
dat2kman Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Nsmo MLS 91mm gasket any use to you? Got a brand newey sitting here, can pack and post Quote

Riceburner Posted October 24, 2015 Author Posted October 24, 2015 Sorry, Did I attach a link? Have you got a picture of that gasket Jason? Cheers Quote
dat2kman Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Its a 1mm one, so ever so slightly higher comp, and better sealing. Quote
Riceburner Posted October 25, 2015 Author Posted October 25, 2015 Thanks Jason. I'll have to check the build specs, I think 1.2mm was as low as I could go and still have enough piston clearance. Quote
dat2kman Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 You want about 80 thou valve to piston clearance. In a P90, you'd have to have taken around 3.5 mm ff the head, and have 45mm diam valves at around 0.6" lift at valve to get that. I'm sing 1mm gaskets! Quote
jock Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 How much do you want for gasket?, is it a MLS style gasket?. Thanks. Quote
Riceburner Posted October 26, 2015 Author Posted October 26, 2015 Checked the specs today with the machinists, 1.4mm is what I'll need. Thanks anyway! Quote
