Yes, you can refit them, its not dangerous so long as they seat tightly. Once you have the wheel bolted down and the nuts torqued up they wont move. However, depending on how old they are, its probably just as easy to replace them with new ones. You can get 'Nice' brand studs from most auto parts stores, usually around $4-6 a stud. They can look it up in the listing or if they know what they are doing they can measure up your old studs and match them that way. Quote
PeterAllen Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 Thanks Alan. Before pressing the old studs out I ran a dial gauge over the flange face and it was perfectly true. No need for skimming at all, so bit of a false alarm. Fingers crossed the other side is the same. I opened the boxes the Wilwoods came in and would you believe the paper used for packing was dated September 2007. They've been sitting in the lounge room all that time. I hope to bring it down for the Italia Festival! Quote
