Chris R Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I'm Chris from Mandurah WA, I have a 1983 280zx 2+2, I have owned the car for about 14 years where it has sat in my shed, did a body resto years ago, original diamond lustre with coloured fleck, looks amazing in the sun. Since I it was painted a ladder fell on the roof and chipped it :'(my high lift jack fell on the f.l guard and dented it :'( an d when I moved it once it fell over the front of the car trailer :'( :'( :'( which dented the lower rears of the front guards. Currently the car has a Toyota 1uzfe fitted but I have had a change of plans and am going to remove this and fit a 2jz gte. I had lost interest in the project but am now hoping to finally get it roadworthy and put some kilometers on it. Quote
CroS13 Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Nice Looking Car! sounds like you need to clear out some clutter from your shed and wrap your zed in bubble wrap! shame stuff keeps falling on it! 2JZ would be awesome in your car, if you need some more inspiration, check out this 280z in america running a 2J.... watch the lines it leaves on the pavement when they show it from the chase car..... its nuts!
