Curiosity question and not life changing but : why are some (1974/5) 2+2 chassis rails shorter on the left (drivers') side compared to the RHside and why also only from (about) 1976 onwards ? I have only seen this on LHD 260Z 2+2s over here and don't know if this is the same for RHD 260Zs and all 2+2 280Zs.......can anyone confirm the differences and help date the changeover please ? Any and all help would be appreciated to clear up this mystery ! Quote
gilltech Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Curious! I see from two of your photos that the passenger side under floor rail (LHD car) is quite a bit longer. News to me, but there it is. Would I be right in thinking that those body shells you have there are all later models? Quote
