260z 55mm struts into 240z

hi guys, i've search around for a bit and haven't really found an answer to this.

 

would struts off a 260z that are 55mm fit onto 240z, I've found an azc sleeve kit for a decent price but it's 55mm and have access to a  spare set of 260z struts which will be sectioned.

 

I'm just not sure if this fits my 240z, i want to ask before buying the sleeve kit.

 

there are lots of info of 240z struts into 260z but not the other way around.
