SBR 2015

Hey guys,

 

A mate and I are doing the SBR next year driving from Canberra to Townsville via the Birdsville Track.

 

Conditions are you must do it in a car purchased for less than $1000.00

 

So we picked up a 76 Datsun 200b last Saturday for $900.00!

Should be a fun journey the cars definately got character !

Awesome, couple my Mates are trying to get a team together too. From the videos of last years trip, I reckon it'll be a good time especially being a pub to pub trip.

 

Be interesting to see how much the "b" will sell for at the end of the trip.

 

Keep us updated with any repair / general maintenance work you do prior to starting.

Am hearing that this is very very popular, and hard to get in to, as past entrants get the info on it up front?

 

Have done a few Variety Bash events, but this sounds way more fun.

Well the Rally starts this Saturday in Canberra and we are driving the 200B from Melbourne on Friday.
