Book Reviews on Bodywork Materials?

Hi Guys,

I came across this book today when searching for 'lead filling' and body filing and from the summary pages I can see it looks quite good.

Just thought I'd post here on the odd chance that someone has it in their collection or has read it and if they have feedback? But I also thought perhaps there are other books on the same topic that people might want to share as a good resource and would recommend.

 

Although I'm doing a practical course on bodywork at St George tafe this would be a useful supplemental bit of information since I can't always ask the teacher questions, especially when working from home on my own, which I'll need to do at some point! .

FYI: I ended up buying this book and 2 others below thru Amazon for under $100 delivered so I'll try and give my feedback when finished with them.

Well I received all 3 books today, first impression of "How to Restore Classic Car Bodywork (Enthusiast's Restoration Manual)

by Thaddeus, Martin" is that it's excellent. Lots of detailed photos and tips.

 

It has given me the confidence to get stuck into removing the door skins on my 240z .

 

I'll post a full review once I've had a chance to read these books in more detail.
