rear hatch glass... difference bewteen the models??

hi fellow Zedders!!

 

Is there a difference in compatibility bewteen 2+2 and 2 seater hatch glass? after doing some research, i dont have a definative answer. So far, ive found that glass thickness chaged from 4mm to 6mm over the years, 240z had vertical and 260z horizontal defroster.. but no size differences?

 

any help would be good. ive got a 2 seater 260z and will be recieving a 2+2 donor next week. If there is no answer, ill measure up but im sure this has been asked before.

Thanks all for the help. Looks like there will be a very good hatch glass for a 2+2 on here for sale soon!!

The 2+2 window is shorter than the 2 seater as can be seen in the photo Scoota G posted.

 

If you click the pic you can see a 2+2 glass laid on top of the 2 seater hatch glass. Its shorter by about an inch, not as wide and not as curved as a 2 seater glass.

Yeah I can see its shorter. Im getting a 2+2 donor for my 2 seater build as im short a few bits and pieces. I was hoping to use the rear glass but I cant so ill have the glass for sale here soon.

There's a 2 seater hatch glass on ebay. Been there for a while. From memory Dale has a spare stashed away too.
