ultrasuede Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Hi everyone. Im a long time fan of the 240 and 260Z. I have a limited budget for cars, and I have always been on the prowl for my dream car. Last week my prayers were answered and an orange 260 with a rebuilt 280 engine showed up on carsales. I drove 3 hours and took a day off work to see and buy this car. When I got there, I found a unloved, tortured 260z that hadnt been started up for over 6 months. The ad says it worked fine and was selling due to no fault of the car. It didnt even make it out of the driveway. Stuffed fuel pump, and dodgy starter motor. I think one of the relays were also stuffed. So with my heart broken, and an envelope full of cash in hand, I want to buy one, and this seems like the right place to buy one. I have a maximum budget of 8grand Quote
