44014 Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Hey guys I have a nos 280z cente console and it has a extra hole that my 260 console did not. I need to find one of these blanking plates, does anyone know if the later 260's in aus had this style of centre console? and if I could therefore get one from a 260 wreck or is this a us only thing from the 280Z? YosemiteZed Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 Hi The hole in the centre is for a fuel indicator light. the 260 fuel float did not have a low fuel electrical connection therefore no light. the first 280z had that indicator then moved up to the dash console where the air vents are there is a position or the bezel (2 off) L @ R or the other way round not sure. You probably have to make one to blank it out as its for the us market not aus Phil Quote
