Datsun 240z No: HS30 - 12058. Severely damaged in Perth hills brushfire. Also 260 2+2 parts car and spare L28 block. Anyone interested in Perth area? Will need to remove, email Pete (pdjh@outlook.com) these will not be around for long as I need to clear block so house can be demolished. Also have brand new 240z tailgate rescued from fire, in factory black primer but paint has been damaged by fire.

Sad to see, is the rear tail gate the early style with the vents in the hatch or later style without?

I'm guessing the roof on this would be toast after fire went through it and the strength of the metal would be destroyed by it also?

Gav, it's the tailgate without vents. I think the roof is ok but dented by roof tile falling on it from the house fire, might push out, but I'll need to inspect it more closely. The engine compartment appears to have escaped damage, but have not yet lifted the hood.

Ok thanks mate, chasing a vented rear hatch for my early car so I'll pass on that, I'm sure someone here will find a use for it though.

All the best with the rebuild (house that is).
