acf321 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Just wondering if anybody has found a solution to warn hood hinges on 240/260Z's? Mine are apparently warn, meaning that with the torsion rods in place, they are popping the leading edge of my bonnet up about 3/4". Rather than buying a second hand set that may have the same issues, has anybody succeeded in rejuvenating existing hinges with new pins or similar? Similarly, does anybody know if you are still able to buy new hood hinges for 240Z? Regards Adam Quote
Retro Z Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Mine was like that too and after trying 3 sets of hinges i managed to adjust the bonnet to sit normal again. By loosening the hinge bolts and rotating the hinge forward at the nosecone/body and again on the bonnet side of the hinge. I've also seen some people slot the holes on their bonnets. Quote
