Hey guys. Not sure if this is the right section for this but wanted to swap my 98 nissan r34 gtt sedan. Minor mods and been looked after extremely well. I use to own a 2 seater 74 260z.. sold it a few years ago and ever since missed it heaps. So if anyone would like to swap let me know. Couldnt be bothered selling it and getting stuffed around lol. Hey mate, best chance is to sell your car privately, and then look for your dream zed afterwards.

 

The problem you have is the zeds are getting harder to find, and are only going up in value, while your skyline is depreciating in value, anyone can import one it pretty easily, and they are as common as a holden now.

 

I know a few of us, myself included, who have jap imports for their daily drivers, and our zeds are our project cars. Due to that i'm afraid nobody will be willing to straight swap you a zed for your R34.

 

Sell your Skyline, then search for your Zed, when you find one you like, post it up here and perhaps someone with experience can help you out with inspecting it or give you advice.

Most 'average-good' (running& unrestored) 240/260z coupes sell for 10-15k and much more if its original or has work. While your r34 would struggle for 8k because of the sheer amount for sale and being a auto sedan. Jap import market is struggling and even gtt manual coupe's are topping out at 12k..regarless of what people are asking on carsales etc. I've owned, imported and sold enough to know. Not dissing your car but you're better off selling it and then using the money to buy a Z. Most good value z's that come up for sale last no longer than a fortnight and you have to be cashed up and ready to go as they don't stick around for long.
