Car trailer - Melbourne to Canberra

Hey folks,

 

Picking up my 240z from Melbourne on the 2nd of October.

 

Does anyone know of companies that do one-way hire of car trailers? (several advertise it but can't offer a Victorian pickup and ACT drop off)

 

Can anyone recommend a car trailer hire company in Canberra??

 

If any Canberran was willing to lend their car trailer, I am sure we could talk about some financial compensation....

 

Any advice gratefully received...

Uhaul do, or at least did, one way hires, but trailers aren't the best for the interstate one way hires through.

 

I've used them a couple of times from Brisbane to Sydney and back.

 

Trailer from Brisbane was a shocker, trailer from Sydney was alright, just a typical heavy hire trailer

From memory there is someone in the weston creek area ....chapman , fisher area ?? That has car trailers for hire, rates where great..

Try coates and kennards also..

Had a similar problem 2 weeks ago with a U-Haul car trailer, dodgy bearings, chains way to short & winch cable broken.

 

Strongly advise inspecting it first if at all possible especially if you are going long distance.
