donnaile Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 Hi All I am new to the site. Finally decided to join after monitoring the forum for the last 4-5 months. I have been on the hunt for a nice 260z and have finally come across one. I live in Melbourne and the car is also in Melbourne. It is been sold unregistered. The question I have is regarding RWC and fender mirrors. Basically is there any issue obtaining a roadworthy when these are fitted? I have tried to search google and this forum for a definite answer however have had no luck. Before I ring my local RWC centre I said I would ask on this forum. Thanks for your help. I am hoping to be an owner of a 260 soon. Ed Quote

zedevan Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 I've always wondered if they become illegal sometime around 72-73 as all the Australian delivered car's I've seen with them were all quite early. My thought has always been that if its an issue I'll get one of the hot rod ones that clips to the window frame Quote
d3c0y Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 They will be fine. I would be very surprised if anyone pulled you up on them. If they do you are going to the wrong people for a RWC for an old car. Quote
